Christmas dinner was indeed a feast with hummus, smoked aubergine and beetroot spread with a selection of home-made breads. The main course included ragu by Juan (delicious lamb stew), home-made quiche from California by Eden and creamy flan by Marcel. Needless to say this will be a night to remember, not just because of the good food, the great laughs and travellers that made this possible, but also because of the truly festive and hearty Christmas night that evolved throughout the course of the evening for all of us that are very far from home and our families. For this night we were a family of travellers with exotic destinations or home ahead of us, travel stories and a journey of life that glued us together.
